I'm liking Yelp (brantaringdale.yelp.com) the more I use it. It has been invaluable since I moved here, providing awesome user reviews of businesses and listings of local events. 


Recently, I finally started writing my own reviews of places I've frequented. Two of the business owners sent me notes today, and one thanked me in person last Saturday.


Great site!
